UPDATE: Bicyclist dies after stuck by car in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Tucson Police Department says a man struck by a vehicle died later at a hospital.
According to TPD, 65-year-old Michael David Cooper died on Sunday, March 26, at Banner-University Medical Center, where he was taken for treatment after the crash on Friday, March 24.
The crash happened just before 9 p.m. at the intersection of East Grant Road and North Los Altos Avenue, near North First Avenue.
TPD said the bicyclist was eastbound on Grant when he made a sudden left turn and was struck by a Hyundai Elantra. The driver of the Elantra, a 19-year-old man, immediately stopped and cooperated with the investigation. It was determined that the driver was not impaired.
No charges or citations have been issued and the investigation is ongoing.
