One teen girl killed, one hurt in crash in Oro Valley

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A teen girl was killed and another girl was severely injured in a car-pedestrian collision in Oro Valley on Friday, March 17.
The Oro Valley Police Department confirmed it happened near West Naranja at North Pomegranate drives just before 1 p.m.
A dog that was being pushed in a stroller was also killed.
The investigation is ongoing, according to the OVPD, and more details will be released later.
“Our condolences go out to the family and friends of the victim during this very difficult time,” the OVPD said in a release.
